A carry on from my last post regarding Bi Carb. I could never not have this or vinegar absent from my cupboards at any one time. The uses are endless. My next post will cover vinegar, but for now here are some of my favourite personal uses for Bi Carb.
The uses are endless. But above are the biggest uses that I personally use at home. I love anything that has more than one use. I save so much money not indulging in chemically bought products and my home is a much healthier one for it.
Strangely I know, I am a big fan of Bi-Carbonated Soda (or Sodium Bicarbonate). It has an endless, never ending uses in the home for cleaning, cooking, health remedies and even beauty care. This is one of the most basic "must haves" in my pantry (along with vinegar).
Where is surprised me the most was using it in the bathroom and kitchen.
I am not a fan of cleaning at all, so to find such an easy and inexpensive way to clean the most difficult areas of my how I just had to share:
Mix together to make a paste. I made this mixture on numerous occasions for cleaning the bath, the shower screens, my oven, baking trays, stove tops... Pretty much anything with deep grease or grime and it has always worked so much better than anything I have used before and with minimal effort.
The trick is to apply the paste and let in sit for at least 30 minutes. I have left the oven paste on overnight. Then I have cleaned the paste off and all the grime and dirt come away with it easily with minimal scrubbing. I love this recipe and have never ever bought smelly chemical cleaners ever again since. I never felt they worked that well in the first place.
Additionally when I was looking for more Bi Carb uses I came across a site that provided a multiple of excellent recipes. I am unable to locate this site again to give credit to the author, so if anybody happens to recognise, please let me know so I can give credit where credit is due.

Upon creating this website I keep finding other resources that I want to share and document for myself in my own personal use website folder. There are many recipes and remedies that I have found amazing to use in my own home which has saved me money, avoided the usage of harmful chemicals in my home and have provided a much superior solution to store bought items. I don't write these down and when I need that recipe again, I am at a loss to find it again. But not again. I will find them all and save here and I hope that they bring as much positive influences as they have me.
